Finally, the eagerly anticipated Adobe Creative Suite 5 has been launched.
Computer Arts has compiled a list of 40 new features in CS5 that {I must admit} has whetted my appetite and got me thinking about upgrading. It’s well worth a read if you’re looking for a comprehensive overview of key features across the whole suite. Read the rest of this entry »
Here’s a little treat that came through on email today. I have no idea where the images originate from, but I thought they were funny creative enough to make it out of the temp folder, and on to the blog. Enjoy! Read the rest of this entry »
My brother works as a 3D Visualisation Artist for architects Wilkinson Eyre. His “fancy graphics” have made it on to the news in Canada as they canvas local support for a proposed $63million traffic bridge.
People on the street don’t seem sure about the modern design – but that’s irrelevant to my brother’s role, which is creating the visualisation of the architect’s concept. It’s certainly quite funny how locals talk about the “video game” pictures as if they be the work of witchcraft!
OK, I know I need to stop posting Boggins related content. It’s childish, and probably quite boring to anyone who doesn’t know, or care, about The Adam and Joe Show.

If you missed it, here’s the BBC’s overview… Read the rest of this entry »
I really enjoyed the excellent “Electric Dreams” season that aired recently on BBC4.
As well as reminding me of long forgotten games and gadgets from the 1970s, ’80s & ’90s, the condensing of three decades into three hours made my head spin with the speed of technological development.
Remember these?
It seems like we have had home computers, microwaves, the internet, mp3 players, satellite TV, etc… for soooo much longer than we actually have.
