Life’s a peach
“Life’s a Peach”, 8″ x 6″, oil on Arches oil paper
A straightforward still life painting. I’m still enjoying the Arches oil paper – which definitely seems to encourage a different kind of brushwork – or maybe I just have more confidence in experimenting. Either way, I wanted to keep this loose and use as few brushes as possible as a part of that simplification process. I managed to keep it down to just 2, which is unprecedented for me and something that I greatly appreciated when it came to cleaning up.
It’s really a good to see an image with message.
